Abhilekha Dalal, Ph.D., is a Research Assistant Professor at the Center for Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, Kansas State University. Her research lies at the intersection of Explainable AI, Deep Learning, and Semantic Knowledge Graphs, with demonstrated applications in biomedical informatics, educational QA, and model interpretability. She has developed concept-based interpretation frameworks for CNNs, led interdisciplinary collaborations on ontology modeling and knowledge representation, and created scalable tools for neuro-symbolic reasoning. Dr. Dalal is the lead author of several peer-reviewed publications, co-editor of an upcoming IOS Press volume, and an invited speaker at premier venues such as NeSy and KGC. She also serves on program committees and as a reviewer for top-tier conferences and journals including AAAI, ECAI, IEEE TPAMI, and the Semantic Web Journal.
